Popcorn Sale Begins

2017 POPCORN SALE UNIT REGISTRATION

Register your Unit for the 2017 Popcorn Sale by July 1, 2017  and your Unit will be entered into a drawing for a $50 Scout Shop Gift Card.  PLUS....Every Unit who registers by July 1 will receive a FREE Popcorn Sale Kit!

1. You will need the following information for your unit prior to completing the online registration:  District Name, Unit Type (Pack, Troop, Crew or Post), Unit #, Popcorn Kernel & their contact information including email address, along with the Unit Leader (Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Crew or Post Advisor) and their contact information including email address & what your Unit’s plans are for the sale: “Show N Sell” & “Take Order” or just “Take Order”.

2. Log into your “MyCouncil” account at www.nlcbsa.org (top right hand corner of page).  If you do not have an account, you will need to create one.

3. Complete Unit Registration for 2017 Popcorn Sale,  Once logged in, click on the popcorn patch (left hand side, half way down the home page) to complete the registration process for your Unit.

Note:  This is just to register the Unit as well as indicate the Popcorn Kernel and Unit Leader (Cubmaster, Scoutmaster, Crew or Post Advisor).          Do not enter Scout’s names that are selling.

4. Confirmation Email.  You will receive an email confirming your Unit has successfully registered for the 2017 Popcorn Sale.

“SHOW N SELL” ORDERS ARE DUE TO THE COUNCIL BY SEPTEMBER 1ST AT 1 PM,  (Friday before Labor Day Weekend) 

If your Unit plans to participate in “Show N Sell” make sure to plan accordingly, especially if you do not have a Unit meeting before September 1st when orders are due

 

OVERVIEW OF “SHOW N SELL” DATES:

  SEPTEMBER 1: Orders for “Show N Sell” (SNS) due to Council by 1 PM

  SEPTEMBER 14:  Popcorn delivered to Council

  (Units will be contacted with exact delivery date)

  SEPTEMBER 22:  “Show N Sell” Sale starts

  DECEMBER 15:  Money due to Council

  

OVERVIEW OF “TAKE ORDER” SALE DATES:

  SEPTEMBER 22 - OCTOBER 27:  “Take Order” Sales Period

  NOVEMBER 1:  Orders due to Council by 7 PM

  NOVEMBER 14:  Popcorn delivered to Council

  (Units will be contacted with exact delivery date)

  DECEMBER 15:  Money due to Council
