Scouting for Food March 18-25, 2017
Our 29th Annual Scouting for Food drive is the largest community service food drive across the Northern Lights Council involving Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts and Explorers. Scouts will be going door-to-door and conducting this good turn for the community from March 18-25. Door hangers will be dropped on March 18 and Scouts will return to pick up donated food items on March 25.
Scouting for Food is a community stewardship project aimed at addressing the problem of hunger in the community in which we live and work. Scouting for Food is a project rooted in the very foundation of the Scouting movement. The Boy Scouts and their community partner, Gate City Bank, are working together on this project to help those in need in our community.
Please register your Unit to participate in our Scouting for Food Community Service Project. And, once completed report your Unit's service hours for JTE and order patches!
