Cub Scouts

For boys and girls in grades K-5

The Cub Scouting program is uniquely designed to meet the needs of young boys & girls and their parents, through offering fun and challenging experiences that youth and parents do together.

Scouts BSA

For boys and girls ages 11-17

In the Scouts BSA program, youth learn through the experiences of camping, hiking, building projects, and community service. Scouting fosters self-esteem, a sense of value and belonging, a sense of accountability, and teamwork.

ScoutPoint

The Northern Lights Council has developed the Scout Point program for youth that live in areas where there is no traditional pack or troop within a reasonable distance.

Previously, youth that lived in rural areas only had the option of becoming a “Lone Scout”. Now with ScoutPoint, they can be a member of a “virtual” pack or troop, doing some activities at home and having meetings online with other Scouts. A few times during the year, Scouts from the same ScoutPoint pack or troop will get together for in-person activities.
