You, your spouse, and Scout Unit are cordially invited to attend the Lake Agassiz District Recognition Dinner. The dinner is for all Scouters, Committee Members, Scouts and family members. We will be recognizing one Silver Beaver Scouter the highest award in the council and two District Award of Merit Scouters the highest award in the District. We will be recognizing several volunteers as “Outstanding Scouter of the Year”, plus a new award started in 2011 the “Scout of the Year” award, the 2011 Eagle Scouts, and those Scouters who earned their training awards. We will also be recognizing units who achieved Gold, Silver and Bronze Journey to Excellence in 2011.
All nominations forms are on line http://www.nlcbsa.org/LakeAgassiz must be turned in to the Grand Forks Office, 1701 Cherry St, Grand Forks, ND 58201 by Friday, March 2, 2012. No applications will be considered after that date, so please take the time now to nominate that Scout leader who has been dedicated to developing our youth. You might keep that person active in your scout unit longer by recognizing their efforts.

Troop 1 St. Michaels Catholic Church will be serving again this year; they did a great job last year.
