Five More Districts Earn Silver!
Two districts in the Northern Lights Council have earned the "Gold" level recognition of the National Journey to Excellence Award. Five other districts earned "Silver" level recognition. Congratulations to the volunteers of the Frontier Trails and the Great Plains districts for being a Gold District in 2011.
Congratulations to the following districts for earning Silver District status in 2011: Oxcart Trails, Lakes, Northern Sky, Lake Agassiz and Roughrider.
To qualify for this national Boy Scouts of America recognition districts must achieve success in a variety of key areas including: summer camp attendance, membership growth, Cub Scout & Boy Scout advancement, fundraising, commissioner service and more.
