Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews Volunteer Service in Medora during the Summer of 2012
We are excited that we will be partnering with the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) again this year for the 2012 season. The TRMF will host Troops and Crews beginning June 10, 2012. The Scouts in turn would provide volunteer service each day involving the flag raising and lowering ceremonies. Troops will also be asked to participate in other community service projects as needed.
Each of the Troops, limited to 10 Scouts and 2 leaders for each session, will be the guests of the TRMF and campsites at the Medora Campground will be provided at no charge to the Troop. Additional Scouts, those over and above the initial 10 Scouts, will be charged $28.00 each, and additional adult leaders will be charged $45.00 each.
The first flag ceremony would begin on Sunday, June 12 and will continue throughout the summer.
