Boy Scout Troops and Venturing Crews Volunteer Service in Medora
The Northern Lights Council will again be partnering with the Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation (TRMF) this year for the 2017 season. The TRMF will host Troops and Crews beginning June 4. The Scouts in turn would provide volunteer service each day involving the flag raising and lowering ceremonies. Troops will also be asked to participate in other community service projects as needed.
Troops are given tickets for 10 Scouts and 2 adult leaders who will be the guests of the TRMF for their Troop visit. A group tent site will be provided at the Medora Campground at no charge to the Troop. Additional Scouts, those over and above the initial 10 Scouts, will be charged $32.00 + Tax each, and additional adult leaders will be charged $50.00 + Tax each. Fees for additional Scouts and adults to be paid directly to Medora upon check-in.

The Troop of 10 Scouts and 2 adult leaders will be provided a group tent site, complimentary passes to the Medora Musical and Pitchfork Fondue steak dinner. Swimming at the Bunkhouse is available and you will receive a mini golf coupon. Other attractions and meals would be the responsibility of your Troop.

A confirmation email will be sent to each unit leader with paperwork that needs to be compelted. (It is recommended that you have your first, second and third choices for dates in Medora in your reservation when you call the office.)
