LEADER TRAINING
The Boy Scouts of America require that all leaders must be trained. What makes a trained leader? A direct contact Scout leader is considered fully trained and entitled to wear the Trained leader emblem when he or she has completed the following training courses and the specific training for the position:
- Fast Start Training
- Youth Protection Training
- This is Scouting
- Position Specific Training (Cubmaster, Den Leader, Committee Chair, etc.)
Your training can be completed online at www.myscouting.org
. You must create an account. After you complete your training please print off the certificates and give them to your Committee Chairman or Pack Trainer.
