Camping....The Tradition Continues

Simply saying camping will trigger memories of campfires, roasted marshmallows, fireflies, songs, stories, canoeing, and just plain fun.  Since its inception in 1910, the BSA has recognized that camping helps boys develop character and grow into men.  Scouting is widely credited with making camping a part of mainstream America, not only with weekend getaways but through summer camps, day camps and family camps.

Scouting’s Outdoor Classroom

Camp! It's the place where the Scouting program truly comes alive - offering our youth opportunities that they might never get elsewhere.  The Northern Lights Council is committed to providing programs and facilities that support the year-round programs of Cub Scout Packs, Boy Scout Troops, and Venturing Crews. These programs can provide our youth members, their families and volunteer leaders with the most memorable experiences in Scouting.   The many programs and opportunities offered by the Northern Lights Council provide a variety of learning experiences. Our facilities are available to both the Scouting and non-Scouting communities.

Sign-up today to attend one of our programs or contact our camping department at 701-293-5011.
