If you're between the ages of 7 and 20, you might be interested in one of the many exciting programs offered in the Northern Lights Council.  If you're a parent, you might be interested in volunteering and joining the more than 5,200 registered adult leaders in the Northern Lights Council.

Scouting Programs

Boys age 7 or in First Grade can join Tiger Cubs
Boys age 8 -10 or in grades 2 – 5 can join Cub Scouts
Boys 10 and have completed 5th grade or age 11-17 can join Boy Scouts
Young men and women ages 14-20 can join Venturing and Exploring

How to Join

1. Contact your local District Scout Executive that serves the area where you live.  You can contact the Fargo Scout Office toll free at 877-293-5011 to get the name and number of your executive or you can use the District Page on this website.
2. Drop us a quick e-mail message about your interest in joining one of our programs and we will have the District Scout Executive from your area get in touch with you.
3. Print the application to join the program that you are interested in and contact your local District Scout Executive who will connect you to a Scouting group near you.
