Become a Youth Protection Training Champion

Registered Scout leaders that have an unexpired YPT certificate can become a certified YPT Champion by completing an additional training course conducted by our Council YPT Champion, John Bisbee.

The course is conducted online using a video conferencing platform.

By completing this additional course, YPT Champions may then conduct in-person training sessions for other leaders. After completion of the training, participants will receive:

  • A Certified YPT Champion certificate
  • A special yellow square knot loop to wear on your uniform (signifying that you are a YPT Champion)
  • A flash drive containing the materials and videos needed to conduct the in-person training

Multiple training sessions have been conducted in 2020 and additional sessions will be posted here as they are scheduled.
